filming the 1978 Gay Freedom Parade for MILK.
I went to see this guy play Harvey Milk. His shirt reads, "I'll Never Go Back." with an illustration of a closet.
These people also showed up to help out.
It was interesting to witness and be a part of. 
First they filmed him speaking to the crowd, several times.
Then they filmed the San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Marching Band and Twirling Corps., a few times. 
It was crazy fun being up so close.
That is Gus there, with the star on his hat.
After they filmed us walking to City Hall they re-grouped everyone for more filming. After almost five hours in the sun, I decided to head home.
